What will you do

Work with delivery teams to scope problems and recommend solutions that consider both short- and long-term needs, and participate in the implementation
Collaborate with architecture and cloud teams during application design phase
Innovate, exploring ideas where Open AI can be integrated into new applications and drive the implementation
Provide mentorship and training to other members of the Delivery Teams on software development best practices
Participate in relevant technical conferences, meetups, webinars, and training sessions to stay informed about the latest advancements in software development and emerging technologies

You will succeed with

3+ years of software development experience
Strong experience in programming languages and frameworks, especially with backend technologies (Java preferred)
Experience in other programming languages (e.g. Nodejs, Typescript, React, Angular)
Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs
Good understanding of relational databases (e.g. Oracle, Postgresql)
Knowledge of software design patterns and clean code principles
Understanding of containerized apps from a development perspective
Some exposure to CI/CD pipelines
Proficient in written and verbal communication in English, and the ability to maintain documentation for existing applications and platforms
Ability to work remotely and manage your own time

Nice to Have

Experience in designing and developing applications that run in Cloud (AWS preferred)
Good understanding of event-driven architecture patterns
Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB)
Working experience with Open AI API’s, AI models, ChatGPT or other AI technologies
Experience working in a PCI-compliant environment, and the ability to adhere to strict security and compliance requirements
Demonstrable experience working in an Agile Scrum team with Jira, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
